Care & After Care
"Once you leave the studio, it is your responsibility to heal properly. Before you
get your ink, we suggest you might want to increase your intake of vitamins
A,C, & D. These are known to promote healing. We also ask that you refrain
from alcohol or aspirin two days before getting your tattoo. These can thin
blood and cause excess bleeding, that washes the pigment back out. When you
give your ink proper care while healing, you ensure that you will enjoy it for the
rest of your life. It will age as gracefully as you do."

Recommended Care Instructions:
"Use the recommended "Tattoo Goo" we sell in our shop and soon online. We
also suggest wearing loose cotton clothing, so at night if you ooze you wont stick
to the sheets. With some sort of cotton clothing on, and you do ooze we suggest
the  following: Get into the shower and get the area wet. Once wet, gently peel it
away. After 24 hours you can wash the area with warm water. Very gently begin
working loose any bits of dried blood or ooze that might be on the surface. A
tattoo is one of the most dynamic symbols of self expression ever created. It is
very important to rely on the expert guidance of your artist for the care &
aftercare of your long life treasure. The long life of your tattoo depends upon
the care you give it during the critical first few days & weeks. Quality shop
operators worldwide have helped compile the following directions for quick
healing. However, we urge you to consult your Inksomnia artist for any special
instructions related to the care & aftercare of your specific tattoo."
