Do not pull, tug, or play with jewelry during the healing process
Do not use anti-bacterial ointments
Do not apply alcohol or peroxide
Be sure to wear clothing that will not get caught on the jewelry
Bleeding continues up to 48 hours after, if it lasts longer consult your piercing professional at
Inksomnia Tattoo. New piercing should be cleaned 2-3 times a day. You are exposed to many
germs and bacteria throughout the day that may cause infections. Be sure to wash your hands each
time before handling your piercing. Healing time varies depending on the piercing & location. Ask
your artist how long you will need to continue the cleaning regiment. Xpressions piercing spray has
a high level of antibacterial & anti microbial
abilities. Xpressions should be used very sparingly, since it only takes a small amount to kill
germs. Spray Once to pierced area twice a day. While showering use "Tattoo Goo Tattoo &
Piercing soap. Allow soap suds to run over the piercing.
During the first few weeks of healing, you may see a small build -up around the jewelry. This is
normal, & your body excretes a small amount of puss / ooze during the healing process. To remove
it , use a moist Q-tip with Tattoo Goo soap & work any build-up on your jewelry. If you decide to
use a salt water rinse during the healing process, consult your professional for proper instructions.
Wait approximately 3 hours after salt water rinse before applying Xpressions piercing spray. If in
the event you experience a reaction to
Xpressions piercing spray, discontinue use & consult your artist for further instructions & healing
options.
